UFC 139 Results: Two Fight of the Night Bonuses
This weekend’s “UFC 139: Shogun vs. Henderson” event drew a reported 13,173 attendees and generated a live gate of $1.268 million, taking place at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California the event did not disappoint producing two “Fight of the Night” fights.
Both the main event (Dan Henderson v Mauricio Rua) and the co-main event (Wanderlei Silva v Cung Le) were awarded FOTN honours netting all four fighters an extra $70,000 each for their performances.
“Knockout of the Night” was awarded to Michael McDonald for his 56 second KO victory of Alex Soto, and “Submission of the Night” went to Urijah Faber for his second round victory over Brian Bowles with a guillotine choke.
